FLO-2D is an hydrological-hydraulic model (2D) for the simulation of the propagation of flow hydrograms and debris flow in hydrographys basins, and the interaction with structure and infrastructures that characteriza anthropic areas, like bridges, weirs, culverts, streets, levees.
FLO-2D is a finite difference model that integrates the complete momentum equation using a geometric constant grid scheme for the calculation of the hydraulic variables (depth, velocity, and discharge) cell by cell and recognizing for each cell 8 potential flow direction.
