On March 23, 2023 , as part of NY Water Week , Prof. Fernando Nardi , representing IDRAN Srl , will hold a conference entitled “ Transdisciplinary Nexus Approaches and Citizen Engagement for Achieving Water Security Facing Climate and Social-Cultural Change ” . His talk will focus on the importance of transdisciplinary nexus approaches and citizen engagement to achieve water security in a context of climate and social change.
This conference follows an important collaboration with the EWA Foundation , Canale Emiliano Romagnolo and CREA Ricerca , which organized the conference “ Facing the Drought in Italy : Data, Prevention and Emergencies Management” , a crucial event to discuss drought management in Italy. Prof. Nardi will highlight how participatory processes and citizen science are essential to address the challenges of water management.
On 22 March 2023 , on the occasion of World Water Day , Nardi and his colleagues will reiterate the importance of global and inclusive action to ensure equitable and safe access to natural resources, such as water, food and energy.
