Panama oil terminal expansion works completed. IDRAN developed, for the private client – a international company headquartered in Italy – the engineering and project management consultancy starting from the preliminary design, to the geologic and geotechnic surveys, the support for the contractor selection up to the detailed engineering design, the works supervision and the as-built blueprint production. The total investment for the realization of this expansion project is over 60 million USD for the doubling of the terminal capacity up to 2.24 million barrels. IDRAN consultancy covered specifically all the civil works with specific regard to the geotechnical engineering for the land movement works needed to finalize the terraces for hosting the new tanks and the maritime engineering for the jetty extension. The project was developed in collaboration with HAREC S.r.l. that within the IDRAN Group is specialized in maritime and ocean engineering.
